The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament

This is not totally exhaustive, but it is a solid survey of what is revealed about the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament. Interestingly He is only referred to as the "Holy Spirit" three times in the O.T. But He is spoken of often in various other ways such as "the Spirit of God" etc.

I jumped into this subject for a few reasons. First because our teaching team is starting a series on the Holy Spirit tomorrow morning. Second because many believers are weak in all things Old Testament. Third I wanted our children's church team to spend a couple of Sundays at least with our elementary children looking at these things.

May you be ever more filled and anointed by the Holy Spirit as you learn of Him in the O.T.
